Volunteer Tasks and Descriptions
Concerts:
Coordinator
Manage volunteer activities including venue, programs, advertising, concessions, merchandise sale
Uniforms
Fitting and ordering of tuxedo shirts for each music student. Distribution/collection ties and cummberbunds.
Venue
Setting/cleaning up, booking venue, rent truck for off-site concerts, load/ unload at each end, hire sound crew, set up tables with cash boxes at each entrance and take the donations starting when the doors open.
Concessions
Baking (some nut-free), picking up and bringing pizza, Vietnamese sandwiches, drinks, etc., run sale before/after concert and at intermission, count money afterward.
Merchandise
Run sale before/after concert and at intermission, count money afterward, get $50 (in ones and fives) each for bakesale and merchandise.
Programs
Layout programs Word/InDesign/PageMaker etc., proofreading, printing/folding before concert, distribution at event.
Advertising
Solicit advertising for program, creating a poster to advertise the Senior Concert
